We are proud to offer a world-class program to children and families in Independence, Sharp, Stone, Fulton, and Izard counties. Children are eligible based on age, income, and family needs. Here is what you need to register your child for possible selection. Completing the application does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment. Enrollment is based on availability and the greatest need.

Child Development

NADC Head Start/ABC Teachers use Creative Curriculum with local input in the classrooms.

Family Services

NADC Head Start/ABC offers parents and the whole family the chance to become involved in many activities, services, and trainings.

Transition

The NADC Head Start/ABC program has several ways to prepare children and parents with a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Health & Nutrition

Each child entering the Head Start/ABC program receives a health screening that is performed by trained staff.

Enrollment

Any child who is age three (3) or four (4) on or before August 1st is eligible for NADC Head Start.
